Hello, I'm Meagan!
I believe the birth experience is unique to every family I have worked with. I also believe in supporting the entire birthing family. I provide prenatal support, continuous labor and birth support and throughout the postpartum journey. Doulas should be the standard of pregnancy and maternal care, I am here to give you a healthy and positive experience. I am a solo practice but work with many other doulas to make sure there is backup support. I started my career in kinesiology and personal training, so understanding how the body works and believe movement aides the labor process. This is paramount to my practice as your Birth Doula. I also had a difficult postpartum period and trouble latching with my first baby and she was colicky. I understand the challenges that come with finding your way with breastfeeding and discovering who you are as parents while fighting sleep deprivation. I am truly honored and humbled to be a part of your birth and can’t wait to work with you!
"Compassion may be defined as the capacity to be attentive to the experience of others, to wish the best for others, and to sense what will truly serve others."
